Who is Peggy you ask?

No, Peggy is not someone I know yet.

Peggy is Brooke’s, the previous owner, Nan. Brooke is someone I had known for 10 years, someone I had shot the breeze with most Friday's in my previous work life. Peggys remains Peggys as an ode to both Brooke and her Nan, as we expand on what Brooke had begun, and I just loved the name!

Family is at the heart of Peggys and we want you to feel that.

I learnt to cook from my mum, she learning from hers, her name was Mary (long gone) and her photo sits proudly on the walls of Peggys as my ode to her and all she has passed onto both of us and now onto Riley, my daughter, who you will see from time to time.
